Child must attend and complete an approved preparation program
Children with no previous religious education formation are eligible to participate in faith formation classes until they have been prepared for the sacraments of both Confirmation.
Family must be registered parishioners.
Program Requirements for Students:
Must attend class regularly. Candidates are required to attend all eight regular class sessions held in accordance with calendar provided in class. If a session must be missed due to illness or family emergency, we ask that you notify the confirmation coordinator promptly and arrange for the candidate to attend a make-up class. Excessive absences will result in delayed confirmation
Weekly Mass should be regularly attended. As Catholics, we are obligated to attend Mass every Sunday and Holy Day of Obligation. Candidates must fulfill this obligation throughout their preparation period.
All-Day Retreat Preparation.
Requirements to be Eligible as a Sponsor:
Must be at least 16 years old
Must be fully initiated Catholic ( Have received Baptism, Confirmation and Eucharist)
Must be a practicing Catholic living in accord with Church teaching
Cannot be the father or mother of the candidate
Cannot be bound by any canonical penalty
